Lupus Ontario – The Annual Italian Dinner Dance

On March 2, Lupus Ontario had its annual Italian Dinner Dance at the Riviera Event Space. The evening saw generous funds raised, which will go toward the Geoff Carr Fellowship. Created in 1990, the fellowship is a bursary designed to train a rheumatologist in the management of patients with lupus. The only fellowship of its kind in North America, it has funded the research and education of over 25 medical fellows and is one of the keys to furthering medical breakthroughs in treating lupus.
