The holiday season can be stressful for families struggling through financial hardships. Parents desperately want to be able to provide gifts for their children to open on Christmas morning, but often the pressure of tight financial binds can be discouraging. Charitable initiatives, such as the CP24 CHUM Christmas Wish, encourage communities to get in the spirit of giving.
On Dec. 6, 2013, TITAN Gives Back, the charitable arm of TITAN Equity Group Ltd., proudly presented Vaughan Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua with more than 200 toys for the 2013 City of Vaughan’s Annual Toy Drive. Along with the dozens of toys donated, TITAN Gives Back generously added 50 hockey sticks and 50 basketballs. All gifts are put forth in support of the 47th Annual CP24 CHUM Christmas Wish Program, and then distributed across the GTA to children in need.
