JEPP Provides Grant for Vaughan’s Fire and Rescue Service

Thanks to Public Safety Canada’s Joint Emergency Preparedness Program (JEPP), a major problem in the fire and rescue field has been significantly doused: JEPP has provided the City of Vaughan with a grant that will cover
up to 45 per cent of a much-needed pair of Digital Vehicular Repeater Systems (DVRS) for Vaughan Fire and Rescue Service. The DVRS, which will sharpen portable radio signals and ensure crisp communication between fire rescue crews during emergencies, are part of an eight-unit project that will enhance Vaughan’s fire safety.
