The Sweet Success Of Edible Arrangements
Tiziana Cannella sits down with City Life to share her love for her clients and how they continue to inspire her after 20 years.
For Tiziana Cannella, owner of the Edible Arrangements franchise, the secret to two decades of success is simple: a passionate team, a commitment to quality, and a deep connection to the customers they serve.
As she approaches her 20th anniversary in January 2026, Cannella reflects on the evolution of her business from its early days crafting fruit arrangements to becoming a premium gifting destination. “We started with all fruit baskets, and they’ve evolved into this whole experience,” she says. Today, offerings include everything from cookies and cheesecakes to flowers, candles and, most recently, made-in-Canada lemon bars — part of a broader push by the company’s innovation team to source more Canadian products.
What sets Cannella’s store apart is the strength and passion of her team. Many of her staff have been with her for over 15 years — some since the beginning. “Everything about my growth, my reputation — it’s not just about me,” she says. “It’s a team package we’ve created here.”
That dedication has earned the franchise an extremely high satisfaction rating through head-office client surveys. It’s a testament to the care that goes into each order, from the moment it’s placed to the final delivery. Cannella adds, “No matter how big or small, every order is important to us.”

In recent years, Edible Arrangements has embraced a refreshed marketing strategy, led by a newly assembled team focused on staying ahead of consumer trends. With a rebranding effort underway, the company is working to modernize its image while maintaining its core values. Cannella’s location has welcomed this shift, offering an expanded product line that caters to diverse tastes and occasions, reinforcing its role as a go-to destination for thoughtful, memorable and high-quality gifts.
Beyond numbers and expansion, Cannella is moved by the emotional stories shared by customers. One client called to say the Edible Arrangements basket stood out among a sea of anniversary flowers, because her family gathered around to enjoy it together. Another found comfort in the thoughtful deliveries during a time of mourning. “Knowing we touched someone’s life, even for a moment — that’s what keeps us going,” says Cannella.
As Edible Arrangements continues to innovate and grow, Cannella remains grounded in her mission: to deliver not just gifts, but memorable experiences. “We may not always hear the stories in the end, but that’s our goal — to create moments that matter.”
