Waves of Changes for Autism Applauds Successful Annual Fundraiser

Vaughan organization makes big waves in support of local families raising children on the spectrum.

An incredible night for an incredible cause, Waves of Changes for Autism hosted their 2nd Annual Gala Fundraiser at Venetian Banquet & Hospitality Centre in Vaughan on September 28, raising an impressive $190,000. Scores of guests attended in support of the non-profit organization that was created to assist families financially with the cost of specialized treatments and programs associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Waves of Changes’ co-chairs, Ellen Contardi and Loredana Presutto witnessed the struggles of ASD with many families in the Vaughan community.  It is through the emotional, physical and financial challenges, that undoubtedly exist, that led them to channel their efforts toward the organization Waves of Changes for Autism – a registered non-for-profit charity. This charity’s goal is to assist all local families with the costs incurred for specialized treatment and programs.
