Temporary Lane Restrictions at Major Mackenzie and the 400

On Nov. 6, the City of Vaughan announced that lane restrictions would be in place along Major Mackenzie Drive at Highway 400 until Dec. 19, 2014, due to construction work by the city in preparation for the future Mackenzie Vaughan Hospital. The temporary setback to drivers will see the necessary infrastructure for a new intersection, medians and storm sewers set in place for the hospital, which is expected to open its doors in 2019.
