Since opening its doors in 1989, Desirée China & Gifts has become Vaughan’s favourite place to find the perfect gifts for loved ones. This year marks the shop’s 25th anniversary, and on April 30 the Desirée team invited friends and fans to celebrate the milestone. Guests gathered at the Weston Road and Highway 7 shop for an evening of wine, cheese and other goodies as well as free draws and giveaways. Throughout the year, Desirée will be playing host to a variety of special guests that include Michael Doulton, brand ambassador of England’s cherished Royal Doulton; Rosa Lladró, president of Lladró, a Spanish manufacturer of handmade porcelain figurines; and a master cutter from Ireland’s House of Waterford Crystal.
