A Yamaha nine-foot concert grand piano is the centrepiece of the new music school’s modern performance and recital space
Yamaha Music School has opened its new location in downtown Markham, housed in the complex at Warden Avenue and Highway 407. Previously located in North York for 35 years, the school’s new location will act as a hub for the surrounding community. The ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of this state-of-the-art facility hosted dignitaries, including Markham Mayor Frank Scarpitti, Deputy Consul-General to Japan Satoshi Ominato, and the president of Yamaha Canada Music, Kenichi Matsushiro, all of whom spoke at the event.
Classes are open for all ages, with programs for everyone from young children to young adults to seniors. Come foster your love of music with Yamaha Music School.
