Presented by Empire Homes, Sunnybrook Foundation successfully organized the 6th edition of Ride for Project Saving Legs, a meaningful initiative to support life-changing vascular care.
Many cyclists, generous sponsors and donors, as well as supporters, gathered at Vineland Estates Winery to contribute. Though the cycling portion was halted by rain, it did nothing to shatter the enthusiasm of the attendees, and together they raised more than $460,000 to support Project Saving Legs.
These funds will support cutting-edge studies, advanced vascular imaging and minimally invasive treatments that are improving Sunnybrook patients’ outcomes.
Led by vascular surgeon Dr. Giuseppe Papia, the day was marked by a tasty breakfast, a celebratory luncheon, and a guided wine tasting at the winery. It was a day well spent, contributing to a meaningful cause alongside some tasty wine.
