DERRICK’S SPRING TIPS & TRICKS

Iridescent Eyes

1.     Begin with the perfect shade for your eyes: silver makes blue eyes pop, copper tones are a great choice for green eyes and gold brings out brown eyes.
2.     Use an angled applicator brush to apply a matte shade of metallic shadow to the bottom of the eyelid and lower lash line.
3.     Apply an iridescent shade from the same colour family over the rest of the lid, up to the crease.
4.     Finish with several coats of black mascara. For a little extra flutter, apply half a fake lash to the outer part of the lash line.

For an all-over shimmer, Derrick recommends MAC Powder Blush in Trace Gold.

Bronze Smoky Eye

1.     Line the upper and lower lid with a soft brown eye pencil.
2.     Use an angled applicator brush to apply a matte bronze shadow to the bottom of the eyelid and lower lash line.
3.     Apply an iridescent shade from the same colour family over the rest of the lid, up to the crease.
4.     Finish with several coats of rich, brown mascara. For a little extra flutter, apply half a fake lash to the outer part of the lash line.

Nude Lips

1.     To achieve maximum richness and depth, start by applying a liner to upper and lower lips in the same shade as your lipstick.
2.     Apply the nude lipstick to the upper lip, working from the centre outward.
3.     Blot lips, then use a clear gloss in the centre of the lip for additional shine.
