Ferrari of Ontario — Vaughan
R. Ferri Motorsport is joining the prestigious Pirelli World Challenge with not one but two stallions in its stable. At the Ferrari of Ontario dealership, Remo Ferri announced that his racing division is entering the 2014 series with two 458 GT3s, one piloted by veteran Anthony Lazzaro and the other by young gun Nick Mancuso. This year is the first time the Pirelli World Challenge has allowed GT3 cars to compete in the series and R. Ferri Motorsport will be one of only two teams with Ferrari entries. Although a newcomer to the 25-year-old race series, Ferri remains confident that his team has the drivers and the tools to turn heads. “The 458 is a tremendously reliable car,” says the president of the Remo Ferri Group of Automobiles. “It’s been one of the most successful GT cars Ferrari has ever built … I’m confident that we will make a mark.”
