At an intimate dinner on May 19, 2015, Swiss watch manufacturer Breitling presented the Wayne Gretzky Foundation with a donation of $99,000. The sports icon accepted the gift on behalf of the foundation, which provides less fortunate youth with the opportunity to experience hockey. The donation came from a portion of the sales of Chronomat GMT Wayne Gretzky Limited Edition timepieces, a series of 99 watches honouring the famous jersey number of the “Great One.”
