The Lazio Federation of Ontario marked a major milestone with its 40th Anniversary Lazio Gala on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Montecassino Woodbridge. The elegant evening celebrated heritage, community and achievement, bringing together distinguished guests from across Ontario and beyond. Prestigious Laziale dell’Anno (Person of the Year) awards were presented to Aldo Carinci and Ernesto Carbonelli, while two Laziale Comune dell’Anno (Lazio Municipality of the Year) awards honoured the towns of Pescosolido and Supino. Finally, Borse di Studio scholarships were awarded to two proud recipients, Nicholas Polidoro and Luca Onorati.
The celebration was enriched by international delegations that included Mayor Dr. Enrico Bellisario of Pescosolido and representatives from Supino. Guests enjoyed vibrant entertainment by the Trio Kings, DJ Platinum Entertainment Solutions and DIA alongside the ceremonial presence of two branches of the Italian armed forces, the Carabinieri and Bersaglieri. Authentic Laziale cuisine — freshly prepared crespelle, ciambelle, torrone and castagne — completed an unforgettable evening of tradition, pride and unity.
