The Return Of Elle Woods

Elle Woods is returning to the spotlight, this time before Harvard, high heels and courtroom triumphs. Elle, the highly anticipated Legally Blonde prequel, premiered July 1 on Prime Video, taking audiences back to 1995 to explore the developing years of one of pop culture’s most adored leading ladies.

Set during Elle’s high school years, the eight-episode first season follows a teenage Woods as she navigates friendships, first love, family bonds and the everyday challenges that ultimately shape the confident, optimistic woman fans came to know in Legally Blonde.

While the series embraces the nostalgia of the mid-90s, it also explores the strength, resilience and determination that have always defined Elle’s character.

Lexi Minetree steps into the iconic role of Elle Woods, joined by June Diane Raphael and Tom Everett Scott as Elle’s parents. The series was created by Laura Kittrell and executive produced by Reese Witherspoon, who famously brought Elle Woods to life on the big screen.

The excitement goes beyond the premiere as Prime Video already renewed Elle for a second season ahead of the show’s début. Also celebrating the 25th anniversary of Legally Blonde is “Elle World,” an immersive fan experience in New York City.

For both longtime fans and the new generation, Elle promises a stylish heartfelt return to where it all began.
