An international research study is looking for Italians living in Ontario to share their stories. The study, “Lo spazio globale dell’italiano: il caso dell’Ontario,” is a collaborative effort between the University of Foreigners in Siena, the University for Foreigners in Perugia, the University of Naples Federico II and the University of Toronto, in partnership with the Consulate General of Italy and the Italian Culture Institute in Toronto. The goal is to gather the life stories of Italians and information about the use of the Italian language among non-Italians with an interest in the European country’s language and culture. All those who speak Italian or are interested in the Italian culture are invited to fill out an online questionnaire, which takes about eight minutes. All of the data gathered is for research purposes only.
