Creative Class Studio’s Toronto Début
Creative Class Studio, a new immersive art experience in Toronto’s Rosedale, is redefining how children engage with creativity, community, and nature. Founded by Rana Florida and Amanda Elliott, the Studio offers monthly workshops inspired by legendary artists including Frida Kahlo, Damien Hirst, the Haas Brothers, Kenny Scharf and Yayoi Kusama. Students participate in guided projects, from self-portraits with “kindred animals” to graffiti skateboard decks and patterned pumpkins to foster imagination, emotional growth, and collaboration.
Each session encourages conversation, hands-on creation and real-world connection around a communal table designed for shared learning. By providing a “third space” away from screens and overstimulation, Creative Class Studio supports children’s well-being, social-emotional development and creative confidence. This innovative program combines art, storytelling and nature to inspire curiosity and joy, offering young participants a meaningful, playful and educational pause in their daily lives.
