On Thursday, April 10, 2025, the Chef’s House Restaurant hosted a special evening celebrating culinary education and experience with the help of the Canadian Italian Business and Professional Association (CIBPA). George Brown College Dean Rudi Fischbacher and George Brown College Foundation Executive Director Allan Penning joined honoured guests CIBPA Vice President Sabrina Marrelli, Estefania Perez and Dolce Media Group Co-founder Michelle Zerillo (CIBPA’s 2025 Women in Leadership Champion) for the event. George Brown College students, recently returned from studying in Italy, prepared masterful dishes inspired by regional Italian cuisine. During the evening, the CIBPA Education Foundation presented a donation to support the school’s augmented learning and culinary hospitality program, reinforcing its commitment to education and its valued partnership with Famous People Players.
