Coach x Selena Gomez

We’re sure you’ll be falling for this new collaboration. Selena Gomez, who just received a life-saving kidney transplant from best friend Francia Raisa, has partnered with Coach creative director Stuart Vevers to create her first-ever ready-to-wear collection.

Gomez is using her second chance to the fullest, and although the line will not be her first with the brand — Gomez worked with Coach on an accessories line in fall 2017 — it will be her first collaboration since returning to centre stage post-surgery. The multi-talented beauty expressed her excitement regarding the collection, stating that she is “so excited to work with Coach again, getting to create [her] own collection with Stuart has been such a fun process, and [Gomez] can’t wait for everyone to see what [they] have been working on over the past several months.”

With the new fall 2018 collaboration in the works, the fashion world is abuzz. Gomez has been leaking snippets of the line on her own boast-worthy social media channels; she is actually the most influential social media personality on the web, with the highest number of Instagram followers (134 million, more than the population of Japan, the 10th most populated country in the world) — so it’s no wonder Coach approached her a second time. The 25-year-old is a whirlwind of beauty, style, talent and personality who has accomplished so much and become a global style icon. The new collection features a range of outerwear, ready-to-wear fashions, handbags, small leather goods and a myriad of other accessories so you can’t help falling in love with the line. Each piece is uniquely Gomez, channelling her “unapologetically confident and powerful feminine spirit.” Gomez collaborated with Vevers on this line to design cool, comfortable and ever-chic pieces that every woman will want to get her hands on.

Since its first partnership with Gomez was such a success with the creation of the Selena Grace bag, Coach decided to give her the reins once again on this stunning collection. Creative director Stuart Vevers mentioned that he “always look[s] forward to designing with Selena because she has a strong point of view,” adding that Coach “wanted to bring cool new ideas to the table and [he] loved getting her take on clothes as much as accessories this time around.”
