La Couture Hair Lounge

Celebrating its 3rd anniversary this April, La Couture Hair Lounge continues to lead Vaughan’s hair scene.

Anyone with hair knows that entrusting their locks to a salon isn’t something to be taken lightly. No one understands that more than the team at La Couture Hair Lounge. Attracting a long list of loyal clientele since it opened its doors in 2012, the mod-chic salon and its professional, upbeat stylists are making serious headway in Vaughan’s hair scene.

Owned and operated by the lively Diana Di Biase, who prides herself on the environment she works in, La Couture boasts a dynamic team with some members having over 20 years of experience each. The La Couture family brings not only incredible talent to the hairstyling chair, but also a warm and inviting welcome to each and every client that walks through the door. “We are so open and honest with our clients. It’s not just, ‘Oh, what did you do this weekend?’” says Di Biase. “They don’t feel like they’re coming to a hair salon, they feel like they’re coming in and chatting to one of their family members.”

Tucked comfortably and conveniently in the Highway 7 and Weston Road area, La Couture is in the heart of the city’s competitive salon industry. But according to Di Biase, La Couture hasn’t just been sailing by; it’s been experiencing tremendous success — a baffling feat for such a young business.

An added bonus is an esthetics parlour located right inside La Couture, where experienced esthetician Sandra’s 20 years of experience and award-winning work continues to turn heads. Sandra’s Esthetics’ services include manis, pedis, laser hair removal, waxing, makeup, facials, skin tightening and eyelash extensions.

Whether salon-goers are seeking a spring makeover, a colour-and-cut or a blow-out, they’ve fallen hard for La Couture’s unique vibe and above-par service and expertise. “A lot of people come here because they know we are really experienced and we do a great job,” says Di Biase, who is constantly updating her skill set, as well as her staff’s, as new trends crop up (think ombre, pastels and balayage). “The look of the place and the ambience also makes a difference, too, I think.”

The salon, which is conveniently open on Sundays, will only continue to fill up as the season of baptisms, communions, confirmations, bar and bat mitzvahs and weddings takes over, bringing with it a wave of clients new and old who want Di Biase and her team to beautify their special day. From drastic cuts to colour touch-ups and fancier styles for milestone celebrations, the team at La Couture Hair Lounge has introduced a new experience to salon-goers — one where ease and honesty pair beautifully with trusted expertise and awe-inspiring results.
