Mayor’s Luncheon

The Vaughan Chamber of Commerce recently hosted the Annual Mayor’s Luncheon at the Hazelton Manor Event & Conference Centre. Over 500 guests were in attendance — the largest gathering ever at the event. Mayor Bevilacqua shared key insights on infrastructure projects and job growth in Vaughan, and businessman Rudy Bratty (Remington Group Inc. and Bratty & Partners LLP) was revealed as the individual to receive the 2014 Philanthropic Business Person of the Year Award.

The accolade was presented to him on April 3 at the VCC’s annual Business Achievement Awards Dinner, emceed by vice-chairman of the Toronto Argonauts Michael “Pinball” Clemons.
